Take heart!  Many of us have now declared our addic­tion to dec­o­rat­ing.  But rather than look­ing for a cure, we delight in our addic­tion.  We love our homes, our yards, our spaces, and we want them to be warm, invit­ing, and yes…Decorated.  

We are hav­ing a day of, what I think of as, “HGTV™ live and on purpose.”

The power of fur­ni­ture place­ment — Have a prob­lem room? Think noth­ing can help it? Bring pic­tures of your prob­lem room and one of our local dec­o­rat­ing pro­fes­sion­als will help you. Send pic­tures in advance and Carol may use your room as an exam­ple from the stage.

Color–  The most pop­u­lar, least expen­sive and most chal­leng­ing way to change a room. Did you know it is the under­tone you are attracted to, not the color? Learn where the trends are going and how to spot them in advance.

Acces­sorize - we’ll turn the tables on the host­ing dec­o­ra­tors with fun exer­cises on how to acces­sorize on a budget.

Light it up– You’ll learn the  prin­ci­pals and nuances of choos­ing proper light­ing. Mood light­ing, task light­ing, accent light­ing — it can make or break a room

Aha!- Expe­ri­ence for your­self count­less “I never would have thought of that” ideas from some of the area’s most cre­ative minds!
